Solo guitar guitar method - Speed Tone & Theory

This method will make you play amazing solo leads - did it work for me? Click here to see

You will soon be able to play like this too, read on to learn how...

Common misconception:

"Only a few - naturaly gifted guitarists - can develop amazing technique/speed"

Have you heard this? Do you believe it? If so, you are about to get a pleasant surprise. This method has helped me, and hundreds of other non-gifted guitarists, reach their goals.

...so who am I ?

Progressive fusion guitar music - Artifex

" Artifex are all very good musicians and while there may only be three of them, they manage to create a technically challenging style of music."
Excerpt from proggnosis.com review by MJ Brady 9/4 -2005

Since the internet is full of ”miracle guitar methods” - designed by no-name guitarists, I am going to introduce myself first.

My name is Kristofer Dahl, I live in Stockholm, Sweden. I am a professional guitarist with fourteen years of experience.

My latest release was with the progressive rock band Artifex.

I have also been teaching both live and on the internet for seven years, teaching many thousands of students the secret behind my lead guitar method.

As you might have noticed in the solo/song above, I master many advanced guitar techniques, and the good news is, you too will soon be able to!

When I started practicing seriously, I was lucky to have a great guitar tutor: Kristian Niemann from the international success-band Therion. He helped me alot, because even though I did the practicing by myself (obviously!), Kristian made sure I didn't learn anything the wrong way (bad habits are very hard to get rid off).

So if you have problems trying to learn lead guitar yourself, you might have habits "programmed" into your playing. My method will help you avoid common bad habits, so that you can make fast progress.

Anyway, the first thing you must realise is: you don't need talent to play fantastic guitar solos , here is why...

Five reasons why you don't need talent:

1. I do not have any natural talent, I just got my skills through practicing - so you can too. Did you hear that? - If I can do it anyone can. When I started playing I could barely even beat time with my foot...

2. Playing guitar is not like a sport - many great musicians have started at a late age.

3. "Talent" is something you were taught about in school - it's something the teachers use as an excuse to explain why they never got to be great musicians.

4. If your friend plays better than you, it's because...

      • he has practiced more than you (even though he would never admit it)
      • he has received important advice from a more experienced guitarist
      • he has been introduced to music at an earlier age than you

...NOT because he has "guitar genes" in his blood!!

5. I haven't to this day had a guitar student that truly wants to learn - and that hasn't been able to. On the contrary, I have had "horrible" cases who later on have astonished me (some of my students go from not being able strum an F chord to playing the most incredible solos).

No kidding, the first time I "converted" one of these students I can tell you I was proud to be a guitar teacher! :) Now, if you want to be "converted", you should ask yourself: Do I really want to be a great guitarist?

... DO I...?

- If you answered "Yes", you have taken an important step - because you can be a great guitarist, you just need the right information in order to get going.

First - Some guitarist testimonials...

"The Speed, Tone & Theory method has a comprehensive section dedicated on getting a good accurate vibrato. It is certainly the first video lesson I've seen, beyond a basics for beginners, that covers the subject in any depth. "

"...I learnt a lot in just the first night of watching (...) especially on speedpicking. It's well worth the money, infact it's worth more. You have explained things very well, so thank you!"

So how does my method work?

Part 1

The first part of the course consists of me explaining all the things you need to know in order to develop Speed (or technique), Tone (or vibrato), and Theory (scales). -> Speed, Tone & Theory content details

Because these topics can get complicated/boring to study on paper, I have designed the course so that all you need to do is to comfortably sit and watch the video (aprox 1 hour 15 minutes).

I chose to record the videos at home where I have my private lessons, for you to get the exact same kind of tuition as my guitar students. The only difference is, they pay three times as much!!

Watch a video lesson teaser from part 1

You will be able to download the full version and watch it as many times as you want. I will also provide you a tab (tablature) leaflet, to make sure that you won't miss a note.

You should save the video files on your computer so that you can use them for future reference. After watching them, you will have got all the important basics you need to get going...

...then the fun begins:

Part 2

Your turn to play solo: you will get a direct-link to a huge solo lesson video-archive, where I will teach you some of the coolest guitar solos ever, such as:

Slash - Sweet Child o' Mine Kirk Hammet - Fade to Black
Yngwie Malmsteen - Far Beyond The Sun Nuno Bettencourt - Rest in Peace
Brian May - Bohemian Rhapsody Angus Young - You shook me all night long
Dave Gilmour - Comfortably Numb Randy Rhoads - Crazy Train
Mark Knopfler - Sultans of Swing Eric Clapton - Layla Unplugged
The Eagles - Hotel California Opeth - The Leper Affinity

...and many more.

The solos are divided into short video segments, analysed with text. When you have learned the segments, you will have no problem putting them together and play a whole solo. This is the reason why my method is so effective: No matter your level, you can always learn to play a couple of notes and put them together.

The layout of these lessons is completely unique and allows you to understand how some extremely advanced techniques are done, note for note. You can loop the video segments as many times as you want without having to fast forward to find the difficult spots.

See an example of one solo lesson video segment.

The example you just watched is just one short teaser, the video archive which you will access contains full-length solos and more than 200 video segments (like the one you just watched). Your access to the video archive is for an unlimited time.

These lessons have taught thousands of beginner/intermediate guitarists to play solos like Slash's "Sweet Child of Mine" (yes, the main solo with the really tricky fast passage), and even extremely difficult solos such as Yngwie Malmsteen's "Far beyond the sun"!!

Guitarists learning from my method:

Kristofer,

"I have downloaded "Speed, Tone and Theory".  It's excellent.  The method is a great tool for learning to develop and improve my guitar playing.  I love the song "Curious Coincidence", I've got it on repeating loop and I've probably heard it about 100 times so far. Thanks for offering up this site, it's perfect for me.  I'll spread the word! "

If you are unsure whether this course is worth buying, I just want to say that attending a bunch of live guitar lessons with this content would probably cost you more than USD 300 . Paying that money, and not even being able to experience the lessons more than one time, would be a shame.

What you get here is the result of fourteen years of experimentation which has resulted in my current skills level, and giving this information away for USD 19,95 (the price of a guitar strap), should make you question my sanity...!

But what the heck, I didn't learn all this to keep it to myself. So I hope you will enjoy my method,

PS And yes - the 200 solo video segments are included in the price - so you do get everything mentioned on this page for only USD 19,95 AND you can get started in two minutes!

Crazy? - Yes!

Awesome? - You bet!!

Did I mention this is the closest you will ever come to a complete solo guitar course on the Internet? Other methods will charge twice as much and not even give you half of what they promise. My method contains much more than I can mention here - I am so confident you will be playing great solos in no time that I'll offer you a 30-day money back guarantee. I don't think you can afford to miss this opportunity if you truly want to be a great guitarist!

More happy costumers...

The Speed, Tone & Theory method is great for rock oriented guitarists out there. Good exercises are included as well as common mistakes - Kris explains it all clearly. I find the vibrato section especially interesting since most videos I've seen do not explain it thoroughly. Kris also gives a detailed explanation on the theory part for you to start improvising and soloing on your own.

PS At the end of the video, Kris goes crazy and does some wacky stuff. I won't tell you now, you've got to see it yourself =)

Just thought I'd let you know I got the Speed, Tone & Theory method today, I am very pleased with it! I found myself playing much smoother and with less movement after watching over an hour of your playing with ease. I was very pleased with all aspects of the course. The vibrato section helped alot, as I have 0 vibrato technique. That will soon change!

This method was easily worth what I payed, and I will be recomending it to all the guitarists I know. If you still need one, I would be happy to write a quick review of the course, just let me know.

I was very impressed by the ability that Kristofer Dahl has and not just his playing ability - I could understand what he was showing me through the video supplied.

I've gotten a new enthusiasm due to people like Kristofer the reason is he breaks things down so you can see hear and read the tab. So Speed, Tone & Theory has to be good, lets face it: anything you can take from talented people like Kristofer is worth the few pounds you spend - and I can see a lot of the mystery is taken out of the lead guitar.

Practice and dedication is the key and now with Kristofer to help you, you get a head start.

Buy Kristofer's method I promise you you will use it if you're serious about learning and improving. I'd like to thank Kristofer for the site and his help.

Kristofer, I wish to thank you alot for putting out something like this website for people who wish to brush up on their guitar skills. I have been playing guitar for about a year and a half now, and I have just downloaded your Speed, Tone & Theory method. I have only watched the first section, but it has already helped me in so many ways! Also with the way you made it so we can learn together with the two parts is genious.

I have already started working on my bad habits and making myself to go UP and DOWN with picking instead of up up..down up down down, ect. Also the legato excersises and everything I have seen so far have been a big help with my progression.

I thank you for making it simple for the beginner and intermediate guitarist to learn, its the best thing related to guitar I have seen on the internet. If you plan on bringing out any more courses you already have one sold!

If you wish to put my above testimonial on your website you have all the permission to do so. I live on the Sunshine Coast, in Queensland, Australia.
